3 Ways To Have An Amazing Weekend

Happy Friday everyone, we made it! This week was rather tough for me, and with my work schedule I am not done quite yet. However, I’m close enough to where I can smell the weekend coming my way. I am excited about this one because I have a special meeting come up on a new passion project - I can’t wait to tell you all about it! If you had a few bumps in the road in this past week, in today’s blog I’m sharing 3 ways you can make up for it with a spectacular weekend. Enjoy and be sure to let me know if you try any out!

Plan to relax

Sometimes you just must pencil in “don’t do anything” time, this one is especially hard for me because I always have 1,382 tabs open in my head and it’s difficult to CTRL, Alt Delete everything. Lately, I have been really into the show 90 Day Fiancé, I’m so late to the party but I find such joy getting up on my couch and tuning in. If you don’t already know I am the ultimate hopeless romantic, inside I’m rooting for these couples to make it work. Over the week, particularly this Sunday I have 0 things to do on my to-do list besides work on things for the blog but that makes my soul happy, so it does not really count.

Indulge

My next tip is to indulge on something you do not get to relish in during the week. This past week I slacked on making breakfast and getting decent sleep every night. You can only guess what I am indulging in … that’s right sleep and a good breakfast! For my birthday I received a waffle maker and I cannot wait to use it again, it makes the fluffiest waffles ever so that is going to be a great treat. I want to try a strawberry infused waffle so we will see how turns out. In the coming weeks I will be doing a night routine so stay tuned for that!

Go on a mental vacay

Aka do something fun! Whether it is listening to a new podcast, going to the beach (social distance), having a themed intimate gathering or zoom call anything really to give your mind a break. Besides my special meeting, I am linking up by the pool with an old friend and I am so excited. Also checking in with Briah about our Smore’s night :)

Whatever you have planned I hope you enjoy it and let the troubles of this week pass you by.
